I love Aubergine and adding anything to it, is always a win. Aubergine with kisir, spicy chickpeas and zataar yoghurt is absolutely yummy. It is a relatively healthy meal and is both filling and tasty.
I have a confession..I haven’t always been that enthusiastic about banana bread but chocolate banana bread is another story altogether. Yes, normal banana bread is great to use up all those mushed up bananas you have knocking around. The mushier the bananas, the sweeter the bread.
I have a thing for a good loaded mexican chicken burger. It’s understandable right?
A chicken fillet topped with sour cream, jalapeños and the like. I have adapted this mexican burger recipe based on a recipe for chick-fil-a which I have heard so much about (Link below). I can’t explain how good it is. I don’t use words like unctuous. I keep hearing chefs say it but i am not a fan of the word and this Huff Post article sums up why.
Looking at this Buttermilk chicken burger today is torture.
Mainly because it isn’t cheat day today and cheat day is banned for a month anyway. I KNOW! Actually I don’t mind it. I just finished reading a book about healing and it talks about how the body can heal when it is aided – Clean foods etc. I totally agree and it is the one thing I have always believed since I was a child. I believe that the body has a natural ability to heal itself. That is why I was never one for tablets. If this little experiment, results in a full body detox and some much needed healing, it is totally worth it in my book.
