I love granola. This fruit, ginger and nut granola is absolutely delicious and so filling. After I had my son, I ate a lot of granola. I also ate copious amounts of chicken soup and sometimes toast. I didn’t really eat much else in those first 2 months after the birth. Mainly because my gran in law was always watching (she is a g and i’m a little bit scared of her) and she has her own theories on what a new mother should or should not eat.
These spicy okra strips are perfect alongside these spicy aubergine slices. They are crispy, spicy and delicious. They are great on their own and great with rice and daal. I will be putting the Daal recipe up soon. I LOVE daal. I especially love it with fried vegetables, rice, some sort of pickle and fried fish.
