8 Ramadan recipes using dates
Yay with it being Ramadan, i just had to put together my 8 Ramadan recipes using dates. There are so many benefits to eating dates. Not only is it a great source of energy, it also does all of this.
I actually made these chocolate peanut butter cups for someone else. See, I love chocolate. I love peanut butter. I love them on toast together but I don’t like chocolate peanut butter cups. I don’t know why. Guess I’m a weirdo.
Iv’e just never really been one for Reese’s peanut butter cups but my family love them. My son, daughter and my husband LOVE them so i thoughtI would make some.
Vegan creamy cashew fig bars- refined sugar free/gf! I just wanted to say that again. Gluten free too? For real? My disbelief is mainly down to the fact that they taste so good. They definitely taste creamy enough for one to assume that there has to be some dairy floating around in them..but nope. There isn’t. I first came across these bars on Pinterest and just had to try making them. Pinterest – Basically a massive Catalogue of food. Yes I know it has loads of other stuff on it too but I like to think that its most popular category is probably food and maybe crafts.
About these chocolate quinoa cookies.. can we just take a moment to appreciate Quinoa in all of its superfood/super grain glory? I mean, talk about versatile. Reasons I love these cookies include the fact that they tick 2 HUGE boxes – they taste awesome and they are healthy-ish. Hello chocolate quinoa cookies!
This recipe is as easy as it gets and therefore ideal (with assistance) to make with kids. A holiday activity if you will. You can add anything to it really, including your kids favourite treats. What i’m saying is, you can’t really go wrong. I opted for grown up toppings when I made this,because we were at my mum’s and she was giving my kids WHATEVER they wanted anyway.
