This Masala fish recipe is one I used to make all the time! I had kinda forgot about it for a while but now it is back in my life. It is one of those recipes that is handy to have for a sudden get together. I am yet to come across a person who doesn’t like it.
Crispy Sea Bass, Fondant Potatoes and Pea Puree
This crispy sea bass, fondant potatoes and pea puree is one of mine and my husbands favourite meals. I love the crispy skin on the sea bass , the soft flesh underneath, the buttery fondant potatoes and the smooth pea puree. Basically i love all of it.
This tahini cod is healthy, subtle and delicate. There is no fuss here. It requires very little work. Woohoo. We all know that baked fish with lemons is a great combo but adding tahini to it adds a new dimension. This is a lebanese dish that i first had at a restaurant in London and instantly loved. Although i really think you need to wait it with a salad – Fattoush works well here.
Dill Daal and Crispy Sea Bass
Dill daal and crispy sea bass, aka my dream food. This daal and I are well acquainted. Best friends if you will. People always look surprised when I mention that it’s a favourite, because really the daal is very simple to make. The fragrant dill adds so much flavour to the daal and it has always been one of my favourite mummy dishes. When I was at my mum’s recently, I asked her to make it again. I don’t ever ask my mum to make anything for me and of course, I could have made it myself but there’s something about mum’s cooking that makes it more special. It feels like home/being a kid all over again.
