Healing Turmeric Tea
There’s a new trend out at the moment and it is everywhere! The craze is for turmeric latte or golden milk. Turmeric also known as Arad/Haldi/Addar is well known for it’s anti inflammatory and antioxidant effects. However because it is difficult to absorb, it is advisable to have it with some black pepper too. Here I have made a healing turmeric tea.
Smores Hot Chocolate
Tis the season for smores hot chocolate, warm fires, loadsa lights, cosy knits, roast meals and merriment. When I think of hot chocolate, camp fires come to mind. I love camping and I can’t wait to go again. I think that when you go once and realise that it isn’t as dirty and scary as you had imagined, its becomes something to really look forward to. We went with the kids when they were a bit younger and they still go on about it. I would have thought they would have forgotten by now but nope!
Spiced Pumpkin Latte
I love a good spiced pumpkin latte or any latte that isn’t strong on the coffee front. I don’t like bitter coffee, that’s for sure. I feel like my teeth are going to drop out and go off for a walk when I accidentally take a sip of a black coffee.
Skinny and Not so skinny Gingerbread Latte
Aah it’s the stuff of dreams. Skinny and not so skinny gingerbread latte. The skinny still has all the flavour without the calories. Yes please! At this time of year, having a hot drink at all times is essential. It’s a rule. A law in my house. Ok I wish it was. By the way, the skinny bit here is IF you use a non dairy milk and skip the whipped cream, gingerbread and sugar!
Masala and Ginger Chai
Masala and Ginger Chai would be an everyday drink in our household if my husband had his way, but it is more like once a week. I feel like it is way too heavy to have every day! Especially the way he likes it. I actually prefer a Yorkshire Tea or English Breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, I do like masala and ginger chai but I have it once a month at the most. It feels like a full meal for me.
