Frosty Strawberry and Vanilla Nice Cream/Smoothie Bowl
A simple, frosty strawberry and vanilla nice cream/smoothie bowl made using just 4 ingredients! It’s Vegan and Dairy free too!
This post is sponsored by One Earth Organics.
For some reason I really struggle with drinking smoothies out of a glass or a cup. Pop it into a bowl and I can happily slurp on that smoothie all day. Is it just me?
On busy mornings, there is nothing better then just chucking things into a blender and having a creamy dessert like breakfast. I mean, what a way to start the day?!
I love how pretty smoothie bowls are and my Pinterest and Instagram feed are full of all kinds of awesome and beautiful smoothie creations. What makes this one particularly special is that it includes One Earth Organics Vanilla Zilla powder which seriously tastes like ice cream (Like seriously) and is full of all kinds of goodness with Baobab, Linseed, Acerola, Carob and Bee Pollen all in one handy delicious powder. I can sneak it into my kids smoothies without them even knowing and they will be getting all the benefits of those ingredients too. YASSSSS!
Usually they can pick out individual powders I have tried to add into smoothies on the sly. Especially if its Spiriluna! ‘MUM it tastes like grassssssss. You added that powder in didn’t you?!! EWWW.’
Obviously this Vanilla Zilla powder is a perfect fit for me and my family because with my studies in herbalism and naturopathy, I am always trying to push the family towards getting as many natural ingredients into their bodies as possible. The vanilla villa powder is high in essential fatty acids and Vitamin C and trust me when I say, I am always trying to get extra vitamin C into mine and my families body. I really want to expand on why but I will do that in another post.
My other favourite powder is the Chocolate Dream. Obvs. That one contains Cocoa,Carob, Beetroot, Chlorella, Vanilla and Baobab. It is equally delicious and equally full of all things good.
I know this post was due out a couple of weeks ago but unfortunately my daughter was involved in an accident and I put life on hold for a little while. Apologies for the delay!
- 2 frozen bananas ( I always slice mine before freezing - so much easier)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup milk of your choice (I love Almond Breeze)

- Add the bananas to a blender and blend on high until smooth. You may need to add 2-3 tbsp of your preferred milk if you are having trouble.
- Add the berries, milk and vanilla powder and blend until combined.
- Add toppings of your choice.
