I love these Honey and Black Seed Bites with Chocolate. This is a sweet, filling, chewy and delicious bar that is ideal for breakfast, brunch or snack time.
The great thing about these little bites is that they keep well in the fridge. I make them at the beginning of the week and then store them in a container in the fridge. They can also be frozen for up to a month.
They are a variation on these Sunnah Inspired Date, Honey and Black Seed Cereal Bar. Obviously the addition of chocolate is a welcome one and I prefer dark chocolate but nay chocolate works. I still find it weird when people don’t like dark chocolate but I was reminded again last night that some people actually hate it! I take it for granted that everyone loves it and I have sent desserts to close family on occasion and forgotten to use milk chocolate instead of dark. Luckily they told me so that I remember for next time and somehow managed to make their way through them!
