Masala Lamb Chops

I have to be honest and say that i rarely make lamb chops, let alone eat them. The same goes for any read meat. I do love these Masala Lamb Chops though and I usually make them for a zero fuss dinner party.

I love to make them during the colder months. This recipe is for lamb loin chops and not lamb rib chops. The cooking time varies slightly.

These Masala Lamb Chops are juicy, succulent and tender and there isn’t much work involved. I have made them when both my kids were very very active and boisterous toddlers.

I sometimes use papaya powder to tenderise the meat beforehand if I remember but sometimes I forget and the recipe works anyway.

I have taken a few days away from the blog to rejuvenate my mind. During these past couple of years of healing, I have done a lot of to-ing and fro-ing between self love and negative self talk. When I catch myself doing the latter, I stop myself in my tracks and work on myself. First I try to understand why I am talking to myself negatively. Then I work to get myself into a head space that is loving and accepting of myself just as I am right now. That means I have to take breaks away from the online world every now and then. I end up doing work that doesn’t require me spending time on my laptop too much. It is all too easy to go backwards and fall into feeling awful and sad all the time so I try to catch any negativity quickly. I also journal. When I don’t journal or meditate, i feel it.

If I have had a bad week, I take myself off to a cafe (away from the noise of my everyday life) and just write until I have processed and understood what is going on in my head.

I am starting a series on Self Love soon because I am so so passionate about people loving themselves. It is something I could talk about it all day. I think it is the root to so many things. Will explain more about what that I mean  soon.
