Pan Fried Cajun Fish
A quick and easy recipe pan fried cajun fish. This flaky cajun fish that is loaded with flavour makes the perfect week day meal and is ready in under 10 minutes!
I often go through bouts of feeling like I will never get through the list of things that I want to make. I have a never ending list of recipes that I want to try out. I love trying new recipes and cajun flavours are just so irresistible. Its a weird case of FOMO. Since I started blogging, I have come across so many recipes that I have never heard of before. I mean think about it, the world is full of creative people with access to completely different ingredients to what we may have access to. I have read some interesting stories about food and recipes too. People have such a passion for food and there are often memories attached to a delicious meal. Food is community. It brings people together in a beautiful way. From families to soup kitchens. Getting bit carried away here..
So where were we…Aah yes. Cajun flavours are versatile and work well with chicken and lamb, as well as vegetables so this recipe can be adapted to whatever it is you are making. I regularly make chicken breasts or thighs using the same spice mix but just cook a little longer.
I have had a lovely day today and finally after 3 whole weeks, we have heating. Woo. My kids have been painting and lego building today. Literally their favourite activities. My daughter also helped with cooking because she really enjoys that. She likes to get involved and prefers to get stuck in. She doesn’t want to observe and knows when I am fobbing her off with a small job, so i can focus on a bigger job. She either tells me off or has a mini tantrum. She is only 4 so she is over it and back in the kitchen 5 minutes later.
Anyway, please do try this fish and let me know if you enjoy it! 🙂
