Honey, Five Spice and Sesame Chicken - This Asian Chicken Marinade is delicious. It’s sticky, sweet and savoury. A classic balance of Asian flavours. This is another hands off easy recipe that is great for weekday meals.

Five Spice

Garlic Cloves crushed

Spring Onion finely sliced
2 tbsp
Sesame Seeds
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
Add the chicken to a large dish. Add all the ingredients bar the spring onions and sesame seeds. Coat evenly. Cover and pop in the fridge for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to Gas Mark 6, 200C/180C Fan.
Remove chicken from marinade and reserve the marinade.
Place chicken, in a single layer, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Cook chicken for 40 minutes or till golden. Baste with reserved marinade midway through cooking.
Sprinkle with spring onions and serve with rice.
Notes
When I use Soy Sauce, I don't add salt because I find it gets too salty.
