A basic porridge recipe

How to make porridge and make that inner Goldilocks smile

Ingredients
  

  • 100 grams Oats
  • 250 ml Water or Milk of choice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey
  • Toppings of choice

Instructions
 

  • Pop the oats and milk or water into a large pan over medium heat. 
  • Stir in a pinch of salt and bring to a simmer.
  • Simmer and stir for 5 - 8 minutes.
  • Add sweetener of choice and any toppings you desire.

Notes

You may need to add more milk or water. Depends on the oats/milk you use. Sometimes I use up to 500ml
