Toasted Caramelised Banana Porridge - This is one of my favourite breakfasts and it is insanely delicious. Soft, gooey, sweet and creamy. This really is the perfect banana porridge and you will love it, mainly because it tastes like dessert! It’s so warming too, which makes it a great option at this time of year.
In a small pan, over a medium high heat add the water, maple syrup, cinnamon and brown sugar. Once melted add the banana slices. Cook for 4-5 minutes let it fry and carefully flip. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add the oats and almond milk to a pot and cook over medium/low heat until the oats are creamy. Stir in the almond butter and maple syrup.
Top the oats with the caramelised banana and choc chips and enjoy!
