Phirni - Delicious Indian Dessert made using a2 Milk™

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 litre a2 Milk™
  • Pinch Saffron strands
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 1-2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Pistachios crushed

Instructions
 

  • Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes, then wash and drain. Grind in a blender. 
  • Pour the milk into a medium sized pot over high heat and bring to the boil. 
  • Add the ground rice and stir continuously. Continue to simmer for a few minutes.
  • Stir in the honey and simmer for a further 5 minutes. 
  • Add the cardamom powder and saffron. Mix well and divide between bowls. Top with Pistachio crumb.
