Notes

Storage for Date Snickers Bar

Cover leftover bars tightly and place in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Can I freeze No Bake Peanut Butter Date Bars?

Yes, these freeze really well! Wrap the bats individually before placing them in a freezer bag or airtight container.
They will keep well in the freezer for up to 3 months and can be thawed at room temperature.

Substitutions & Additions in this No Bake Bar

Nut Butter Alternatives
Swap out peanut butter for Tahini, Almond Butter or Cashew Butter. You can also try a seed butter like sunflower seed butter.
Add-Ins
Add some dark chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips, chopped peanuts or dried fruit on top of the peanut butter layer before covering in chocolate and top with flaky sea salt. My favourite flaky salt is Maldon Salt.
Chocolate
You can use Vegan Chocolate to make them Vegan.

Tips for making the BEST Peanut Butter Date Bars

Use high quality crunchy peanut butter - A good flavoured natural crunch peanut butter will give you the best flavour in this delicious treat. I love Pip and Nut. Their Almond Butter is also sublime.
Use a large piece of baking paper - Leave some over hang so it is easier to lift the bars out of the tin once they have set.
Place the Bars in the fridge to set -  Once the Chocolate has been added place the bars in the fridge. If you place them in the freezer, the Chocolate will likely crack.
