I sometimes feel like quinoa has a reputation of being bland and boring. So i put together this roundup of 13 Magical Quinoa Recipes to prove that that definitely is not the case. My love of quinoa knows no bounds. It is my favourite grain. Please don’t tell my first love – rice. It came as a surprise to me because I really hated quinoa for a very long time. I was like what is this seedy nonsense getting stuck into my teeth.
Now.. I make it ALL THE TIME. In various ways. Multiple times a week and sometimes every day.
I love Quinoa because is gluten-free, high in protein and one of the few plant based foods that contain all nine essential amino acids and you know that I am making a point of eating more plants. Quinoa is a seed, which is prepared and eaten similarly to a grain. The other thing I love about quinoa is that it takes on flavour realllllllly well.
It is also high in fiber, magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various beneficial antioxidants.
So here army fave ways to eat Quinoa..I have a feeling that I will be adding to this list forever.
