    Easy Biscoff overnight oats

You’re going to love these delicious and creamy biscoff overnight oats.

They’re easy to prep and pack in a good amount of flavour.

This version of overnight oats is as simple as it gets with few ingredients and 5 minutes prep time.

In all overnight oats recipes, you mix all the dry ingredients and milk the night before and leave it in the fridge to set. Then you simply grab and go in the morning!

Lotus Biscoff is a spread made up of speculoos biscuits. Speculoos biscuits are lightly spiced and almost gingerbread like in flavour.

    Are overnight oats eaten cold?

Yes they are generally eaten cold but can be warmed up if you want.

Ingredients needed to make Biscoff Overnight Oats

Here is what will need to make these overnight oats:

Oats – Old-fashioned rolled oats are best in this recipe. They soak up the liquid whilst in the fridge overnight, resulting in the most delicious creamy texture. Any other oats like instant or quick cooking oats won’t work here.

Milk – You can make overnight oats with any type of milk you prefer.

Chia seeds – Chia seeds are actually optional in overnight oats but they add fibre and and  help thicken the overnight oats.

Lotus Biscoff spread – This is what makes the oats so delicious. It adds sweetness and enhances the creaminess.

Lotus Biscoff biscuits – I like to add these on top of the oats to add some texture.

Brown Sugar – You can use this or Honey or Maple Syrup instead.

Ground Cinnamon – A pinch of ground cinnamon adds warmth but it can be skipped.

How to make Biscoff Overnight Oats

Mix the Oats, Chia Seeds, Sugar and Cinnamon in a large cup. Pour in the milk and add 1 tbsp Biscoff. Then mix together.

    Dry ingredients in a bowl

Cinnamon and Biscoff added to bowl

Biscoff Overnight Oats in a cup

Spoon remaining Biscoff onto prepared oats.

Crumble a Biscoff cookie around the edges.

Then put back in fridge overnight to set.

Give them a stir in the morning before eating.

Overnight Oats Ratio - Overnight Oats Consistency

The consistency and therefore ratio is up to you. I like them to be a little thick but not liquid like. You can use a ration of 1:1 of Oats to Liquid if you like them even thicker.

How Long does it take for overnight oats to be ready?

Overnight Oats don’t actually need to be soaked overnight. They can be made in 2-4 hours but are best soaked for at least 8 hours. They won’t be as soft after a shorter soak but will taste just as good.

    Can overnight oats be heated?

Yes you can. Just pop them in the microwave and warm in 10 second bursts.

Tips for Making the Best Biscoff Cookie Butter Overnight Oats

Make overnight oats in a container that closes and has a seal like a mason jar.

Multiply the recipe and make enough or meal prep for 5 days.
