What a way to start the day ay? Rice Krispie Cereal bars are great for eating on those mornings when you are in a rush to get out of the door. I love rice krispies and I love how people use them in cake decoration too!
I am taking a week off from tomorrow, well from putting posts up anyway. I am on a course that will finish at 7pm everyday. I don't deal well with working as well as really stretching my brain throughout the day. We have a really good teacher. To me a good teacher is one who makes you use your brain. One that doesn't give you all the answers. I feel like if you go away and research and use your own brain, it seems to stay with you longer. Intelligence isn't just about having a good memory or the ability to write or speak well. I think it is a mixture of things.
Talking of learning, I still haven't learnt photography. I literally haven't had the time to. I have improved dramatically but in terms of learning, I haven't really tried enough. All my energy seems to be focussed on getting posts out there, my little family and keeping on top of housework. My husband has taken over the photography but as the days are getting darker with Autumn, it looks like it will be coming back to me because by the time he gets home from work, it is already dark and overcast. I also feel like it is a lot of pressure on him after work to then do a photoshoot but at the same time, that is the reality of working for your self. Most people who work for themselves, are always working. The hustle never ends. That being said, we wouldn't do it if we didn't love it and I really love what I do and am so grateful that I can do it around my family. My husband is also very creative in his own way and super duper talented. I am so glad that he is good with DIY and stuff like that. I don't ever want him to lose that skill. It is one of my fave things about him.
I do hope you enjoy this recipe! Please let me know if you try it.
