Banana and Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Medium Bananas Mashed using a fork
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 125 ml Milk of your choice
  • 110 g Wholemeal Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1-2 tbsp Oil
  • 2-3 tbsp Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the bananas, egg, vanilla essence and milk. Whisk to combine.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt and whisk to incorporate.
  • Heat a little oil in a non stick pan over a medium low heat.
  • Drop 2-3 tbsp batter into the pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Add 2 more if your pan allows. Cook pancake for 2 minutes each side.
  • Continue to cook the remaining pancakes in the same way.
  • Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.
