Easy Brownies Recipe - This recipe is for the most delicious,  chewy fudgiest milk and dark chocolate brownies with a crispy crackly top.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Unsalted Butter
  • 225 g Chocolate Chopped, I use 1/2 milk and 1/2 dark
  • 3 Eggs
  • 265 g Caster Sugar
  • 175 g Plain Flour
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • 100 - 200 g Additions such as chocolate chips/nuts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 C/GM 6. Line a 20cm square tin with baking paper.
  • Melt the butter and chocolate over a pan of simmering water.
  • Whisk the eggs and sugar together for 5 - 8 minutes in a large bowl until pale and fluffy and then add to the cooled chocolate whisking in till incorporated.
  • Fold in the flour and salt and add any other additions. Pour into tin and level out using a spatula.
  • Bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool for 15 minutes - 1 hour in the tin before carefully removing to a wire rack. Place in the fridge overnight for best results.

Notes

Variations for Easy Chocolate Brownies Recipe

  • Add chopped nuts like Peanuts, Walnuts, Pecans.
  • Fold in some treats like Biscoff Biscuits, M & Ms, Oreos, Marshmallows. If adding on top, add them towards the end of baking time.
  • If you want to add Caramels - add them 2 - 3 minutes towards the end of cooking time.
  • Fold in dry Fruits such as Raisins.
