Brownie Trifle in a large dish with spoons and plates for serving to side

Brownie Trifle

Safira
This Brownie Trifle Dessert is loaded with deliciously fudgy brownies and it is indulgent and creamy. The BEST thing about it though is that it is such a quick and easy recipe to make making it ideal for gatherings where you may already be making a load of other dishes.

VARIATIONS

This recipe is incredibly adaptable. Here are some ideas:
Add a layer of your favourite snacks - Oreos, Crunchies, Maltesers (Whatever you like).
Make an Chocolate Orange version -  Add crystalised oranges on top of the Brownies and Orange Juice instead of Hot Chocolate. Melt Chocolate Oranges and add on top of the Custard and add chopped Chocolate Oranges for the top.
Make a Mint Version - Add a little Mint Essence into the Chocolate Custard. Add some flavoured Mint Chocolate on top.
Trade the brownies for Blondies and add a Caramel drizzle.
Make a mini version - Individual servings of trifles are great for gatherings.

TIPS TO MAKE THE BEST BROWNIE TRIFLE

Use a good quality brownie mix or make your own!
Let the brownies cool completely before using so that the other layers are not affected.
