These quick and easy Doritos Nachos are ideal for movie night. They make a great sharing snack for games night/a crowd. They are easily adaptable and packed full of layers of flavour.
Toppings of choice - Sour Cream, Gauacamole, Salsa (see other suggestions below)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 190 c/Gas Mark 5.
Add Oil to a pan and then add the meat. Scatter over the Taco Seasoning. Cook till meat is cooked.
Add Doritos to a oven tray. Top with meat.
Add Cheese and any toppings you like. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
Add more toppings and serve.

Tips
It is best to grate the Cheese yourself. Pre grated cheese has a coating which stops it from clumping together, this however also affects the way it melts.It is better to have multiple layers then to try and have lots of toppings per layer.Line the tray with greaseproof paper or foil.Don’t be tempted to over bake otherwise the Doritos will darken at the edges and taste bitter.
Make Ahead
You can cook the meat ahead and use it when needed. Just reheat slightly first. The meat can be made up to 2 days ahead. Store in an airtight container.
Storage
It is best to eat Doritos Nachos as soon as they are made but they can be served up to 30 minutes after
