These Chocolate Covered Snickers Stuffed Dates are sweet, chewy, have a slight crunch and taste just like snickers! They make for a delicious healthy snack and are great served as part of a Ramadan/holiday table setting. They are also ideal for Sehriand Iftar.
Use a sharp knife to cut a slit in each date. Then remove the pit.
Add 1/2 tsp peanut butter to the centre of the dates.
Add peanuts on top of the peanut butter.
Place the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave in 20 second bursts. Stir well between.
Use a toothpick to dip each date into the melted chocolate until completely coated.
Place onto a plate lined with baking/parchment paper.
Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Place in fridge to allow the chocolate to set.

Use a toothpick to secure the date before dipping into chocolate for ease and less mess.

Use a vegan chocolate to make this recipe vegan.
Peanut Butter
You can use an unsalted peanut butter if you prefer.

This balances the flavours and brings out the sweetness of the dates and chocolate.
Melting Chocolate
Melt the chocolate over a low heat in a bowl over a pan of simmering water and make sure the bowl does not touch the water in the pot. If melting in the microwave, do it in 20 - 30 seconds bursts.

Fridge
These delectable dates disappear pretty fast but if you have leftovers, store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week.
Freezer
You can also store them in the freezer in an air tight container for up to 2 months. Be sure to let them come to room temperature before serving.
