Fudgy in the middle chocolate, oats and date bars

Ingredients
  

Bars

  • 210 g Oats
  • 190 g Pecans
  • 10 Medjool Dates Pitted Pre soaked for 10 minutes if hard
  • 100 g Coconut Oil
  • Pinch of Salt I used Maldon Sea Salt flakes

Fudgy Middle

  • 50 g Cocoa Powder
  • 50 g Coconut Oil melted
  • 90 g Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients for the bars to a food processor and pulse until they start to come together.
  • Press half the mixture into a lined loaf tin.
  • In a small bowl combine the ingredients for the filling and whisk together. Pour into the tin and spread evenly.
  • Add the remaining bar mixture on top and press down with the back of a tablespoon.
  • Pop the tray into the freezer to set for 1 hour.
  • Cut into 8 bars.
