Combine the Cocoa, Caster Sugar, Plain Flour and Baking Powder in microwave safe mug. The cake will rise so it needs to be large enough to allow for that.
Whisk together the egg, oil and milk in a bowl until combined.
Add the egg mixture to the dry mixture n the mug and whisk together.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Microwave mug cake for 60 seconds. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
This is best eaten straight out of the microwave.
