Fudgy in the middle chocolate, oats and date bars
Ingredients
Bars
- 210 g Oats
- 190 g Pecans
- 10 Medjool Dates Pitted Pre soaked for 10 minutes if hard
- 100 g Coconut Oil
- Pinch of Salt I used Maldon Sea Salt flakes
Fudgy Middle
- 50 g Cocoa Powder
- 50 g Coconut Oil melted
- 90 g Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients for the bars to a food processor and pulse until they start to come together.
- Press half the mixture into a lined loaf tin.
- In a small bowl combine the ingredients for the filling and whisk together. Pour into the tin and spread evenly.
- Add the remaining bar mixture on top and press down with the back of a tablespoon.
- Pop the tray into the freezer to set for 1 hour.
- Cut into 8 bars.
