Rice
Optional - Soak for 20 minutes

Cumin Seeds

Salt
Adjust if stock has salt in it
Instructions
Rinse Rice under cold water in a metal strainer until the water runs completely clear.
Add Rice to Ninja Foodi.
Add Water or Stock.
Add Cumin Seeds and Salt.
Secure lid and click into place. Turn valve to seal.
Select pressure - High.
Turn to high setting. Set the time to 2 minutes.
Once the pressure has built up the timer will start.
Once the time is up and the display reads done, allow rice to naturally release for 10 minutes.
Carefully turn the pressure release valve to vent to release any remaining pressure.
Open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork or spoon.

Storage
Rice keeps well in the fridge in a airtight container for up to 5 days.
You can also freeze it for up to 3 months.
Variations
You can add any flavour you like to the rice such as:
Oil/Butter/Ghee at the start (select saute) and then add:
whole spices such as Cumin Seeds, Nigella Seeds, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Peppercorns.
diced onion - 1 (cook for 10 minutes until golden brown or add fried onions).
Add ¼ - ½ cup of chopped vegetables.
