Crispy Chicken Wrap
With the kids back at school, we are busier than ever. That means we don’t always have time to cook a fresh meal. On those days, the freezer comes in handy!
We buy frozen ready products like these Goujons that we used in the Chunky Chicken Salsa Wrap Recipe from FreshFromTheFreezer.
Knowing that we have options in the freezer, not only helps us to produce delicious meals, it means we avoid waste too.
The Chicken Goujons can be deep fried or oven baked and the Salsa is made with few ingredients.
We plan meals like this into our week and know that we can simply prepare on the day without having to worry about a fast approaching use by date.
Freezing leftovers and using ready Chicken Breasts like these means we are less likely to throw leftovers away. Any we don’t use can simply be popped back in the freezer. Which means we save money too.
Ingredients Needed
- Red Onion
- Tomato
- Garlic
- Coriander Leaves
- Lime
- Salt and Pepper
- Chilli Powder (Optional)
- Ground Cumin (Optional)
- Lettuce (I skipped this due to an allergy in the family)
- Wraps
- Chicken Goujons
How to make it

Prepare the Chicken Goujons by deep frying or oven baking, then drain on kitchen paper.
Make the Salsa by chopping all the Vegetable and adding the Lime Juice and Spices.
Arrange the Chicken Goujons, Lettuce and Salsa on the Tortilla and serve rolled up.
