Paneer with Peas – Muttar Paneer
I love paneer. Paneer with Peas – Muttar Paneer is one of my favourite ways to eat paneer. I also love to make my own paneer mainly because despite how easy it is to make, I feel really clever when I do it. I prefer this curry dry but you can also make it more like a soupy curry by adding more water.
Rice Krispie Cereal Bars
What a way to start the day ay? Rice Krispie Cereal bars are great for eating on those mornings when you are in a rush to get out of the door. I love rice krispies and I love how people use them in cake decoration too!
Chip Shop Chips
The secret to the perfect chip shop chips is to use great potatoes – I use maris piper, cutting the potatoes into thick cuts, ensuring the chips are washed and dried before frying, blanching the chips and allowing them to cool before one final fry, using clean oil, serving immediately and liberal amounts of salt and vinegar.
Thai Red Chicken and Coconut Soup
Thai red chicken and coconut soup is fragrant, fiery and fierce! It is a favourite soup in our household. The red thai curry paste in this soup is by Blue Dragon and I would highly recommend it. We actually got our samples from a food show and they have been very handy indeed.
Peri Peri Chicken Burgers
Everyone loves peri peri chicken burgers right? I served mine with these brioche buns that were surprisingly easy to make. I also made my chicken as flat as I could, because the kids wanted to eat pretty sharpish. These burgers have all the flavours of that famous Nandos peri peri sauce. It’s basically a Nandos copycat burger. Did you see our recipe for Nandos chicken? Do give that a try too!
