When it comes to easy recipes, these 3 ingredient peanut butter bars win gold prize. The recipe includes very simple store cupboard ingredients that you most probably will have to hand. It is also a no bake recipe!

    3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Bars

These bars are super easy to make and can be made gluten free (by using GF Oats like these), Dairy free if you don't use the chocolate chips or use a vegan variety and they have no refined sugar in them. You can also swap the honey for Maple Syrup to make them Vegan (use vegan choc chips instead).

The core ingredients in these bars are oats, honey and peanut butter but you can add chocolate chips and salt too.

Why I love these PB Bars

These simple 3 Ingredient No Bake Peanut Butter Bars can be thrown together in minutes. I prefer to use natural.organic ingredients for these and the added bonus is that the kids love them.

I usually heat the honey and stir the peanut butter in, then add the oats. I then press the mixture into a lined 9×9 tin and then pop it into the fridge where I store them.

    These bars are:

    naturally sweetened

    wholesome

    moist

    healthy

    easy to make

    firm and chewy

    sweet and nutty

    plant based

I love granola and oat based treats and this is an easy way to get my fix. I love to add chopped nuts, chocolate chips, seeds and dried fruit to mine. What do you like to add to yours? These ones just contain chocolate chips because sometimes simplicity is good but of course you can add anything you desire. You can also add nothing at all!

How to make Peanut Butter Bars

These are really simple to make:

    Line and spray a 9 x 9 square tin.

You melt the honey till just simmering.

    Stir in the Peanut Butter

Add the Oats and Salt and allow to cool a little before spreading into the tin.

Sprinkle over choc chips and press down.

Pop into the fridge for 30 mins - 1 hour to set and cut into bars.
