Best Biscoff Milkshake (with Ice Cream)

This Biscoff Milkshake is delicious, creamy and has a caramelised gingerbread like flavour thanks to the Biscoff Spread.

Here is why you will love this Biscoff Milkshake:

Quick and Easy Recipe - This recipe is ready in less then 5 minutes. All you need is a blender and a few ingredients.

Easily Adaptable - You can adapt this recipe and use your favourite spread instead or even a chocolate of your choice. You can also turn the mixture into Ice Lollies/Pops.

    What is Biscoff?

Biscoff is a spread made up of speculoos cookies (spiced biscuits that are similar to gingerbread).

    Ingredients and Substitutions

    Biscoff Spread

Biscoff or Speculoos spread is a biscuit spread made with caramelised spiced speculoos biscuits.

    Biscoff Biscuits

Lotus Biscoff Biscuits or Speculoos biscuits can be added the shake and around the rim of the glass.

    Vanilla Ice Cream

A good quality vanilla ice cream is best here. You can use a Vegan version here.

    Milk

Full fat milk makes for a creamy, rich full bodeied shake. You can use plant based milks too such as Oatly.

    Toppings

Such as whipped cream, biscoff biscuits, melted biscoff spread.

    How to make it

Add Ice Cream, Biscoff Spread and Milk to a blender and blend till smooth.

Crush Biscoff Biscuits in a blender or place them in a bag and bash with a rolling pin.

Add melted biscoff around the rim of a large cup.Add crushed biscuits.

Pour milkshake into the cup and add whipped cream, biscoff biscuits and melted biscoff.

    Top Tips & Tricks

Add Ice Cream and Milk to the blender first  – If you add the Biscoff first, it will stick to the bottom and sides of the blender.

Melt Biscoff before using - Place the biscoff in the microwave for 10 seconds to melt it. This makes it easier to add to the blender.

Let the Ice Cream sit at room temperature - Leaving the ice cream out for 10 minutes first will help it soften making it easier to use.

Texture - You can use crunchy Biscoff to add texture or simply add Biscoff Biscuits to the blender.

    Storage

Biscoff Milkshake is best served immediately.

However if you do have leftovers, they will keep well in the fridge for 7 hours. You will need to remove the whipped cream off the top for best results.

    Recipe FAQ’s

Can I make Biscoff Milkshake ahead of time?

I recommend drinking this shake immediately but you can make it up to 6 hours ahead and store in the fridge minus the toppings.
