7. Say 4 things in Ramadan in abundance:
in the following hadith:
“And in this month, four things you should endeavour to perform in great number; two of which shall be to please your Lord, while the other two shall be those without which you cannot make do.
Those which shall be to please your Lord, are that you should in great quantity recite the Kalimah Ṭayyibah: Lā ilāha illallāh, and make much ‘Istighfār’ (beg Allāh’s Forgiveness).
And as for those without which you cannot make do, you should beg Allāh for entry into Jannah and seek refuge with Him from the fire of Jahannam.” (Ibn Khuzaymah).
8. Durood Ibrahim
O Allah, bestow Your favor on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as You have bestowed Your favor on Ibrahim and on the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
9. Surah Ikhlas
Qul Huwallahu ahad. Allâhussamad. Lam yalid wa lam yû- lad. Wa lam yakun lahû kufuwan ahad.Reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas one time is equal to one third of the Quran. Reciting it three times is equal to the reward of reading entire Quran.
This is multiplied in Ramadan!
10. Light on the tongue, Heavy on the Scales
Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to me, “Shall I tell you the expression that is most loved by Allah?” It is `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi’ (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)’.[Sahih Al-Muslim].
Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “For him who says: `Subhan-Allahi wa bi hamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection, and I begin with praising Him, and to Him),’ a palm-tree will be planted in Jannah.” [At-Tirmidhi].
11. Daily Dhikr (After Salah or throughout the day)
Subhanallah (33 xs)
Al Hamdulillah (33 xs)
Allah akbar (34 xs).
Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is the Most Great.
12. The power and benefits of Istigfar
Just repeating أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰ (Astaghfirullah) - I seek forgiveness of Allah 100 xs per day is a Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (ﷺ).
Some of the benefits include:
Relief from distress and anxiety, opens the door of mercy, opens the door of sustenance, opens the door of knowledge.
Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
“If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.” [Abu Dawud].
13. The Best Dhikr
"The best Dhikr is La ilaha illallah and the best supplication is Al-Hamdu Lillah.” [At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah]
If the seven heavens and everything contained in it were placed on one side of the scale and La ilaha illallah on the other scale the latter will be more heavier, this is the power of this short dhikr.
La illaha illa Allah (There is no God but Allah), not only affirms your faith, it also brings you closer to Allah (swt) as well as countless other benefits.
14. The best remembrance on a Friday
The best form of remembrance (Dhikr) on a Friday, is to send peace and blessings upon the Prophet, ṣallā Allāhu ʾalaihi wa sallam - صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ (May peace and blessings be upon him).
We should aim to increase this Dhikr on a Friday but do a daily count too InshaAllah.
15. 40, 000, 000 Good Deeds! Multiplied by 10 to 700 times!
Ash'hadu allah ilaaha illal laahu wah dahu la sharika lahu ilaahan wa hidan ahadan samadan lam yat-ta-khidh sa hibatan wa la waladan walam yaqul-lahu kufuwan ahad.
Our beloved Prophet (saw) that the person who recites this dua ten times daily will recieve the reward of 40 million good deeds. Tirmidhi 3474.
16. Shortest but Powerful Dua
Allahumma inni as’alukal-‘afwa wal-‘afiyah fid-dunya wal-akhirah
