Today's recipe is for The Easiest Nutella Ice Cream. A creamy delicious no churn Ice Cream that takes very little effort to make.
What's more? You only need 3 ingredients to make it! This is a recipe that my kids make in the Summer months. This one and this equally delicious Crunchie one which they sometimes add leftover Easter Eggs and Chocolate to in the Spring months.
Easy home made Nutella Ice Cream
Tasty and indulgent Nutella ice cream can be difficult to make.
First of all, you need an Ice Cream maker.
Secondly, the Custard can curdle and turn into scrambled eggs.
In this Recipe though, all you need to is 3 ingredients, a hand blender, a loaf tin and bowls.
No Churn Ice Cream
So what does it mean to say an Ice Cream is no churn?
In this recipe there is no need to churn the ice cream in an ice cream maker.
You will still get delicious ice cream that is ready to enjoy in a few hours but just without the stress.
Home made Ice Cream makers require that you start with a custard base.
In this recipe, you just blend the ingredients together and voila you have smooth, delicious ice cream.
I first saw a version of this Recipe via a Mary Berry program and I've been making variations ever since.
Ingredients in The Easiest Nutella Ice Cream
In this homemade no churn ice cream, the 3 ingredients you need are:
Sweetened condensed milk
How to Make Nutella Ice Cream Without a Machine
Optional Step -To make homemade Nutella Ice Cream without a machine, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
Then fold the whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk and Nutella.
Or add all 3 ingredients to a Blender, Stand Mixer or bowl and whisk until a mousse like texture is reached. Around 4 - 5 minutes.
At this stage, you can fold in any desired flavorings - Chopped Hazlenuts would be great or maybe crushed Maltesers.
Pour into a loaf tin.
Allow to sit at room temperature for a few minutes, wet an ice cream scoop and scoop into dishes or onto cones.
Serve with crushed Nuts and melted Nutella or Chocolate Sauce.
How Long Does home made Nutella Ice Cream Store?
This homemade no-churn Nutella ice cream will last for months in the freezer. Make sure the container is covered and sealed tight to avoid freezer burn.
What's great about it?
You don't need an Ice Cream Machine. Just a Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer.
Uses 3 ingredients.

Tips for Making No-Churn Nutella Ice Cream
Whipping the Cream - You can whip the Cream beforehand in this recipe for a lighter ice cream with more volume.
If you do skip this part, you will still get Ice Cream but it won't be as airy. It will be lovely and thick though.
Make sure you get full fat everything - This isn't the time to get Single Cream. The recipe won't work as well with substitutions. Milk too won't work as well. It does work with a lighter sweetened Condensed Milk.
Add Ins - If you do use mix ins, chop them up small as they will freeze quite hard.

The Easiest Nutella Ice Cream
- 397 g Condensed Milk
- 500 ml Double Cream
- 250 g Nutella
- Pour the Condensed Milk, Double Cream and Nutella into a bowl or a stand mixer. Whisk until the mixture looks like a thick mousse. Around 5 minutes.
- Pour into a loaf tin, cover and feeze for 7-8 hours or overnight.
- Remove from the freezer and let it stand for a few minutes.
- Optional - Serve with chopped Hazlenuts and Chocolate Sauce.
