This juicy boneless skinless Chicken Breast is delicately seasoned, healthy and an easy midweek meal. It is also really handy to have it around to add to Salads or Sandwiches.
It is easy to overcook Chicken Breast and for it to become dry, bland, rubbery and pretty much inedible.

There are very few ingredients needed in this recipe and you can always adapt the spices and seasonings to your taste. You can also use a pre brought spice mix.
This is what I used:

Lightly pound the chicken breast to flatten slightly and to make sure it is the same thickness all over.
Season the chicken and set aside for 30 minutes.
Combine all the ingredients for the marinade and smother over the Chicken.
Cook the chicken at 180 C for 5 minutes.
Flip the chicken and cook for 3 - 8 minutes more.

How long to Air Fry Chicken
The amount of time it takes for the chicken breast to cook through depends on the size and thickness of the Chicken Breast.
It can vary between 7 - 17 minutes!
A small Breast that is around 150g and not very thick will only need 5 minutes and then you just adjust the time according to the weight and thickness of the meat.
3 Tips to make the BEST Air Fryer Boneless Chicken Breast
Thickness - Pound the Chicken Breast to an even thickness so it cooks evenly all over. Do this by either with a rolling pin in a ziplock bag or between 2 sheets of cling film or paper. This also helps to tenderise the meat.
Best Temperature - I like to cook at 180 - 190C when using an Air Fryer. This is because an Air Fryer uses convection for cooking food and is quite powerful so the heat doesn't need to be as high.
Brining - Dry brining the Chicken for 30 minutes beforehand means you get moist chicken. This isn't absolutely necessary but it does make for a really juicy and evenly flavoured Chicken Breast. To do this, simply add Salt to the Chicken and set aside for 30 minutes.
How to make sure the Chicken is not overcooked
You can use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the Chicken. It should be around 70 - 75 C. It will continue to cook whilst resting too.
